Maltatal/Hohe Tauern - 4 days
In the region of the valley Maltatal, Austria´s secret granite eldorado, various new
multi-pitch climbing routes have been established in the last few years. They are
characteristic for short approaches, enjoyable climbing, and impressive surroundings
Climbing Area:
The valley Maltatal is situated in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia, Austria.
Currently, seven climbing areas with about 200 routes are located there. The multi-pitch
routes vary from three to twelve pitches, the difficulties from V. to VIII. The approach
is only 5 to 40 min. maximum.
Programme:
belay techniques for multi-pitch climbing routes, grade V. to VII. multi-pitch routes,
either lead or accompanied by a mountain guide, depending on the participants
