Information ice climbing courses:
Ice climbing unifies high demands and the intensive feeling of being in the mostly wild and untouched mountain scenery. Our three-level training programme addresses beginners, intermediates, and experts. Due to consistent safety standards and state-of-the-art equipment we can guarantee trainings on the highest level possible.

Climbing area and test centre:
The valley Maltatal, located in the Hohe Tauern range, is known as an ice climbing mekka due to its ideal training areas for beginners, 400 m-high waterfalls, mixed routes for advanced climbers as well as the low risk of avalanches and other alpine dangers. In addition, you can quickly reach many popular ice climbing areas, for example the valley Seebachtal near Mallnitz, Heiligenblut, and the valley Gasteinertal.

Equipment:
You can buy or rent the latest equipment for ice climbing in our test centre, during but also off training hours. Rental equipment is not included in the prices listed. However, we provide the following gear free of charge: harness, static ropes (1, 2, 3 m long, 5-6 mm Ø), band sling long (120 cm), pear-carabiner, screw gate carabiner (4), figure of eight, quick-draws (4), helmet.
